Super-elite marathon runner shocks organisers by completing first marathon in 3:43

On Sunday April 9th Christopher Stone, our very own Director & Consultant Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon (otherwise known as super-elite marathon runner/cyclist) shocked the organisers by completing his first marathon in 3:43.

Chris said:

“I am now super-elite marathon runner! Well, maybe not super-elite but at least I made it round intact and without hitting ‘the wall’. Finished in 3:43. Big thanks to the Brighton Marathon team and all of you who sent messages of support and donations for Cancer Research UK.”

Exeter Medical are very proud of Mr Stone’s brilliant achievements and his Just Giving charity page currently totals £1,740.00 (at time of writing). Visit his Just Giving page and it goes without saying that any contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference.

A massive well done to Chris for his fantastic efforts and further support of Exeter Medical’s chosen charity Cancer Research UK.
