Spring is definitely in the air and there has been some rearrangement of secretarial services and desks in preparation for exciting new additions to the consultant team from April 2015.
Joining us will be Professor Bruce Campbell, consultant vascular surgeon and Mr Peter Saxby, consultant plastic surgeon, who will both move from their previous location at Lyndhurst Road to Admiral house.
So for those of you with varicose veins, particularly small thread veins that you find unsightly on your legs and elsewhere, you now have a range of treatment options including microsclerotherapy, laser treatment and varicose vein surgery, all of which are available to you under one roof!
Our other consultant vascular surgeon, John Thompson, is already established at Admiral House and has performed varicose vein surgery under local anaesthesia in our main operating theatre since last summer, to the benefit of many happy patients! Simply give us a call and we can advise you on how to access the services of both consultants for which ever treatment you may need. Peter Saxby is a senior plastic surgeon who brings the number of plastic surgery consultants working privately at Admiral house to five, joining Chris Stone, David Oliver, Andrew Wilson and Nick Cawrse.
Peter already has a busy cosmetic surgery practice but he will also be able to offer local anaesthetic outpatient surgical procedures to those of you with minor lumps and bumps, including skin cancers. So with the dermatologists, general surgeons and eye surgeons who also call Admiral house their home, there is a true multidisciplinary team ready and waiting to give you their every attention! And don’t forget that you can ask your GP to refer you to Exeter Medical as an NHS patient to access the services that are available for the treatment of skin cancers and minor hand problems, such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
To make sure that you get your one-stop appointment at Exeter Medical, remember to ask for us specifically when booking through the DART choose and book system.
