Exeter Medical would like to wish you a happy new year and take a quick look at what an incredible year 2017 was…
Last year was particularly special as it marked our 10 year anniversary. Thank you to all those who joined us for some festive sherry and mince pies, a great way to start the Christmas holidays. Things have certainly changed over the past decade with Exeter Medical’s team and services growing substantially.
Here are some highlights from 2017:-
We welcomed some 8,491 patients through our doors in 2017.
Raised an incredible £1,540 for Cancer Research UK
Exeter Medical’s dermatology team helped to raise an incredible £1,540 for Cancer Research UK as part of our charity mole check event back in May. Of the 130 patients seen, several patients were referred for onward assessment after the early detection of suspicious lesions.
We will be supporting Cancer Research UK during sun awareness month in May 2018 by running another mole check event so please help support this worthwhile event and make friends and family aware. Early diagnosis is so important, if you have any suspicious moles please contact our dermatology team at Exeter Medical for a mole check immediately.
