Your choice of surgeon is important. Firstly, you need to be sure that they are properly trained and accredited, so that you know they can perform the surgery to a high standard. Secondly, you need to feel comfortable with them as a person, that they listen to you and understand what you would like to achieve.
Most of my patients are not seeking the extraordinary; in fact in the majority of cases patients want simply to look good in everyday clothes and feel more confident with their body shape. This applies equally to those women who have grown up with small or large breasts as it does to women who have had children and want to restore their breasts or tummy to how they were before pregnancy.
I generally find patients are very well informed before they come to see me, but once you have made an appointment I will ask my secretary to send you an information sheet on the operation that you are considering.
