Exeter Medical is a brand new cosmetic surgery and beauty therapy centre, conveniently located close to Exeter airport, which has been designed and purpose built by Christopher Stone and David Oliver, two fully accredited and experienced consultant plastic surgeons. Their building creates a bright, clean, artistic and stress-free environment for visitors and they are working closely with the Care Quality Commission to ensure that the highest standards of care are provided at all times.

Recognising emerging trends in beauty and fashion, they have successfully combined elements of their established cosmetic surgery practice with a beauty therapy service that enables patients and clients to receive personalised beauty treatment packages that both complement cosmetic surgery and represent high quality treatments in their own right. Exeter Medical is an approved provider of market-leading beauty therapy products from md Formulations (including Bare Escentuals make-up), Fake bake tanning, Dermalogica body treatments and Is Clinical skin care. A full range of facials and massages (including aromatherapy massage) is available.

The profile of cosmetic surgery has been raised in recent years through greater television and press exposure, and more patients have become interested in outpatient treatments such as botox, dermal fillers and chemical peels. Exeter Medical employs a fully trained aesthetic nurse specialist to work alongside Mr Stone and Mr Oliver in giving these treatments and many others.

Exeter Medical also has a fully equipped operating theatre where outpatient cosmetic surgical procedures including upper eyelid lifts and Silhoutte thread facelifts can be undertaken, although major cosmetic procedures such as breast augmentation and reduction, facelifts, rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty and liposuction are performed after consultation at Exeter Medical at the Exeter Nuffield hospital or Mount Stuart hospital in Torbay.

As a medical facility, Exeter Medical is also home to other consultants from a variety of specialties accepting private referrals from General Practitioners across Devon and the south west.
