md formulations® prescription facials
md formulations products have been specifically developed to combine elements of a facial treatment formula for beauty therapists and a peel formula for dermatologists and plastic surgeons.
They contain glycolic acid, a naturally occurring substance and part of the alpha hydroxy acids family which has been used for centuries to improve the appearance of the skin.
Exeter Medical is fully accredited by md formulations, and some the treatments available can only be administered under medical supervision. Our facials all last for around an hour and can either be used as independent skin care treatments or can be incorporated into treatment packages along with other cosmetic procedures including cosmetic injections, chemical peels, laser treatments or even surgical procedures such as face and neck lifting.
Our beauty therapist, Hayley, has been specially trained to use md formulations facial products and can advise you as to which facial is best suited to your own skin type or any other treatments that you may be planning.

Especially effective after holidays and flying, this enriched moisture mask deeply hydrates skin tissue by up to 700% within 15 minutes. This is the ideal treatment for thirsty parched skins, leaving the skin feeling comfortable, supple and replenished.
Anti-Redness Facial
This gentle but effective facial helps to soothe irritated skin using a combination of camomile and liquorice. The anti-redness facial calms mild skin inflammation following sun exposure or cosmetic treatments such as laser rejuvenation and chemical peels.
Anti Aging Facial

The firming spa facial uses a powerful anti-aging peel off mask which lifts and tones superficial facial contours. It contains both vitamin A to repair damaged skin and Vitamin C to assist in collagen formation, along with powerful anti-oxidants that combat signs of aging. This facial can form part of a post-treatment protocol to enhance the rejuvenating effects of laser treatments, chemical peels and face lifting surgery.
